In Antwort auf : I just don't get it, don't you see Henry is coming out of an injury? He has not been fully fit all season now. His impact last season was telling enough for skeptics like yourself to keep shut forever, but you people just don't. Guardiola said it in open that he didn't play Henry against Arsenal in the 2nd leg, as he didn't want him to have self-doubts. He is 32 now, clearly not someone you expect to burn the flanks, but he still fits in.

so pique coming forward and starting the attack is immensely important, marquez particularly didnt look assured on the ball, and bendtner pressured him quite easily to pump the forward on a few occasions which barca never does... thats defence contributing to attack, now for defence contributing to defending, pique is probably the best central defender in the world right now...so decide for yourself if he is a big miss or not

agreed xavi and messi are the 2 most influential, but iniesta and pique are the next most influential...iniesta starting wud have helped for sure.....and as for the defence, i dont know how many barca games u watch, the truth is that, with pique and puyol passing with confidence and ease, makes it easier to hold possession and in turn easier to build the attack, which barca always builds from the back

In Antwort auf : You had your most influential players in Xavi & Messi on the pitch. We didn't have our first two, ie Fab & RvP. Barca may be great, actually they are, but Arsenal's mauling wasn't justified as we weren't full-strength. Moreover Iniesta was fit enough to feature in the game, what more do you want!? And defence was never Barca's forte, so missing defenders shouldn't have been a big problem anyways.
